    The Harley-Davidson, Inc. is an American manufacturer of motorcycles based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. It is one of the two remaining American mass-producers of motorcycles (along with Victory). The company emphasizes heavy bikes designed for cruising on the highway and known for their distinctive exhaust note.

    Harley motorcycle model designation are a sequence of letters and numbers, depending on the feature and styling of the motorcycle. These model designations include Sportser, Dyna, Softail, Touring, and VRSC or Revolution.

    This model, the EL 1936, roughly translates to mean: Model E, L (for Hydra Glide Forks), released in 1936. Though, the company itself doesn`t always stick to this convention of naming motorcycles.
