Product Description
First built in the 1860`s, this type of locomotive dominated rail transport until the 1960`s. By 1900 the US already had 33 000 locomotives of this type, and they were also used extensively by Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium and Australia.
In the Whyte notation, a 2-8-0 is a railroad steam locomotive that has a single-axle leading truck followed by four powered driving axles. In the US, this wheel arrangement is commonly called a Consolidation.
Product features
The model is fully rigged for animation, and the product features four highly detailed resolutions of the model.
This model is a 3DMax model, saved in version 7 as a MAX file, and requires 3DMax or Gmax to open the model. It does not include any other formats to allow it to be opened in any other software. The model is rigged where appropriate, and mapped and textured.
