Product Description
The Ticonderoga-class of missile cruisers is a class of warships in the U.S. Navy, first ordered and authorized in FY 1978. USS Valley Forge (CG-50) was a Ticonderoga-class cruiser in the United States Navy. She was named for Valley Forge, where the Continental Army camped during one winter in the American Revolution. The ship was decommissioned on 31 August 2004 at San Diego Naval Station, the first ship with the Aegis combat system withdrawn from service. The USS Valley Forge was sunk in a target practice near Kauai, Hawaii.

One ship of the class, USS Vincennes, became infamous in 1988 when she shot down Iran Air Flight 655, resulting in 290 civilian fatalities, which the captain of Vincennes had believed from misinterpreted radar returns was an Iranian Air Force F-14 Tomcat jet fighter on an attack vector. Vincennes was decommissioned in 2005.

.: Product Features :.

• Front and rear deck guns can rotate.
• Front and rear missile launchers can rotate around and rotate up and down.
• Both propellers can rotate (with an ERC dial on the BODY).
• Both rudders can rotate (with an ERC dial on the BODY).
• Radar dishes can rotate around.
• Due the complex texture mapping, no templates are included.

The model will load into the scene at full size, in relation to the Poser people. You can then move the ship down (or your people up) to create scenes of the people on the decks.
If you want to render a scene without people, simply reset the size of the Valley Forge model back to 100%.
