| The scene was inspired by Tony Hayes` image "Abandoned Future" (http://www.my-art-gallery.co.uk/Artwork.aspx?g_id=13&p_no=1&art=512), which also uses the two main elements, ratracer`s Bleak Future Condominium from Vanishing Point and Helmut Schaub`s Nautilus submarine. The structure is built from major elements of the Bleak Future Condominium, but rescaled and rearranged in Poser to fit the sub. The structure parts were imported from Poser into Carrara Pro, duplicated, further rearranged, and augmented with detail elements from coflek-gnorg`s Steampunk Towers. The figures (all Miki 2 with Xurge 3D`s Light Armored Nano Suit and DAZ`s Rievel hair) were individually posed in Poser, imported into Carrara, and distributed in the scene. The water plane, lighting, and environmental effects are native Carrara. The rendered image was post-processed in Picture Publisher for the noir look. |
