The Ford Motor Company released a series of pick up trucks in the years before World War II that are still popular today among collectors. These vehicles were originally used for everything from recovery vehicles to farm use, and they had a reputation for being strong and durable. This is the 1940 version, featuring the distinctive wooden sideboards.
.: Product Features :.
Model built entirely with 3-sided polygons.
Opening and closing right and left doors.
Opening and closing rear hatch
All four tires can rotate around.
Front tires are steerable.
Steering wheel is turnable and an ERC dial on the BODY affects both the front wheels and steering wheel.
The front hood does not open (since the model does not contain an engine).
Most of the materials use complex mapping and no templates are included. However, if you want to make your own textures, the template for the "CarBody" is included.
The "rear license plate" material uses the same mapping as the license plates found on the Veepster, the Panel Van, and the Utility Truck. This means you can use any license plate textures on any of these vehicles.

This model had less detail that I`d hoped, but is not bad for $12. Some different materials or a texture map for the dashboard would have been nice, but my main beef is the wheels, which are for a customized truck rather than a stock vehicle of 1940. I dealt with this by hiding the original wheels then putting my own tires/wheels in place - not a perfect solution, but it does the job if you prefer a more stock appearance.
This also loads and renders in Daz Studio, but to my eyes, looks better in Poser. Tweaking the "surface settings" in DS may be required.
Generally, there are better vintage vehicle models out there, but they cost twice as much. As long as you`re not rendering the interior too closely, this is a decent model for the price.
