Product Description   The Lockheed Constellation (Connie) was a four piston-engine propeller-driven airliner built by Lockheed between 1943 and 1958 at its Burbank, California, USA, facility. A total of 856 aircraft were produced in four models, all distinguished by a triple-tail design and dolphin-shaped fuselage. The Constellation was used as a civilian airliner and as a U.S. military air transport plane, seeing service in the Berlin Airlift. It was the presidential aircraft for U.S. President Dwight D. It was made of "tin"; it was heavy; it had sharp parts (back when toys were "unsafe" but still lots of fun); and I loved it. Thanks to the artists for giving me back a part of my childhood with this wonderful model. Now I can play with it in the digital skies.   By: BardCoennius on 7/11/09 [See more by this user] Rating: 8 (out of 10)  I had actually found a free mesh for this online, but after considering the amount of time I would have spent editing the mesh and rigging it for animation, I decided that for $10, this was a good buy.
