Product Description The Military Environment Creator Set includes everything you need for the base for a military render. The props are generic enough that it could be used for scenes from WWI to the present day. If you want to set up a road block to catch suicide bombers, or have your hero winning the hearts and minds in the local village, or relaxing back at base camp with a cup of coffee, everything you need to get started in your scene is here. Trenches, barbed wire and sandbags for WWI scenes, foxholes and camouflage nets for WWII, anti-tank obstacles to stop those beasts in your Vietnam scene, or scouting out an Arab village, everything is possible with this model. (Except for dividing by zero, that remains impossible.) It is scaled to Poser figures, and despite the immense size of the military terrain model, it is only 49,000 polygons and has a total texture use roughly equivalent to a Hi-Res Victoria 3 with a set of cothes. The large military terrain model uses a new system called the EAP Constrained Movement System, which means that all the props have been added to the figure as body parts, and can be moved using the translate dials, but limits have been set to prevent moving objects into the sky or off the base figure. This should make using the model easier than standard environment models. A range of add-ons will be released as freebies in the coming months, and some of those requested so far are landmines and telephone poles. Other freebie items have been made to fit with this model, such as the camouflage net and helicopter landing pad. Files included in this package: - 28 individual textured props - Tunnel Section (figure) - Military Terrain (figure) Textures: All objects in the package are UV Mapped and textured, and an optional set of textures is included to change the colours of the tent or the camouflage net, or the sand around the sandbag emplacements. Bump maps are included in the optional textures package, and can be added to the parts of the model that will be close to the camera while rendering. The package also includes a mini tutorial on using the model and improving renders.
