Product Description   The M3A1 US Army half-track APC was the main frontline transport vehicle for US military personnel during World War II. This historically correct model includes both the Version 1 and Version 4 variants, distinguished by the differing mounts for the .50 Browning machine gun. This is the version built by the White Motor Company. This model is fully textured and rigged for animation, and features a new type of programming, allowing the separate front wheels and tracks to be controlled by one dial. The model has 154 moving parts, simplified by ERC into a useable system of 45 controls. A PDF document explaining the controls is included. The ERC programming has been tested and works in all versions of Poser as well as DAZ|Studio. The model was rigged with the help of Christian Philbrook at http://www.fightingiron.com/, who owns both versions of this vehicle. Crew: 2 (13 with passengers). Length: 6.02 m, width: 2.275 m, height: 2.15 m. Maximum speed: 72km/h. Front wheel circumference: 3.25305m. The model has been untriangulated from the original mesh and has a lower polygon count, and has been UV Mapped and textured to work in Poser 4, ProPack, 5, 6 and Vue, as well as DAZ|Studio and Bryce. Tested succesfully on a Pentium III, 768Mhz, 256Mb, but at least a Pentium IV, 512Mb is recommended due to the size of the model. Files included in this package: M3A1 Version 1 and Version 4 (cr2) MAT pose file (pz2) .jpg texture maps Textures: All objects in the package are UV Mapped and textured. A MAT file is included to be able to reset the texture if you apply one of the free textures to the model.
