Product Description
The T-68 (or the "Snub Nose" as it`s pilots affectionally called it) first saw service towards the end of the First Corporate Wars. It is often said by historians that this ship reflects the Spitfire, in that it was partly instrumental in saving the United Corporations of Euromerica (UCA) from disaster
Designed by the Coola-Cola Research Division of the UCA (formerly known as France) the ship employed a hydro-oxygen scramjet that could function well in the ozone depleted atmosphere of this period.
This also gave the edge over the fighters used by the Asian Tigers which where powered by oil derived fuels. These fuels where in short supply, as much of the Middle Eastern oilfields where a radioactive desert after President Rice of The New Crusaders destroyed them after failing to seize them.
What little oil did remain was often used combined with Amazonian Bio-Fuel, which could result in the fuel pumps of a fighter becoming blocked. The pilots of the T-68 knew this and would often request the Hydro-Zeppelins used to drop-launch the T-68 to fly to maximum altitude above the rival fighters.
If an enemy fighter attempted to fly that high, or dive too fast to avoid the incoming T-68`s, their pumps would fail and the T-68 had an easy target. Typically the kill ratio was 10 to 1, normally made using a Type A electro-disruptor missile.
Another ability of the T-68, was the implementation of the launch tower. Any building that could have a set of rails attached to it could launch the ship. The ability to use the side jets for launch before employing the main engine (combined with the T-68`s manoeuvrability made it perfect for use in law enforcement in urban environments.
Here the T-68 suffered its darkest period. During a food riot in 2025, after Africa stopped their aid programmes to the UCA, King Blair the 2nd ordered that the 25mm gene-tech cannon be loaded with a GM variant of Ebola. The intial strike on Bognor Regis was widely held as a success and few complained, until the GM-Ebola was used in civilised areas.
Hence the T-68 headed to retirement. Though a version, the T-68a, was used to good effect as a Space-fighter. When a group of Martian colonists attempted self rule. Here the Type B neuro-gene bomb was often used.
The T-68 was by now being replaced by the Molek Industries T-5, and is now only seen at desert air races or at air shows.

Was finally able to pick this bad boy up! Been drooling over it for awhile. I`ve been looking for a cool 1-man fighter for a while and been wanting this one. Now I finally have it and I can`t be more pleased. Works great in Daz Studio.
