Before a colony can be built, a sky must first exist.
The AS-7 SkySeeder was designed to perform the most critical stage of planetary settlement—the deployment of atmospheric foundation systems. Operating ahead of engineers and construction teams, the aircraft transports specialized ionosphere and ozone capsules to future colony locations.
Upon arrival, the SkySeeder releases a network of atmospheric seed capsules across the selected zone. The capsules activate on the surface and begin generating the first ionized containment layer. Secondary ozone capsules are then deployed, forming a protective atmospheric shell capable of shielding future settlers from radiation, dust storms, and micrometeor impacts.
Entire R-9 settlements owe their existence to these missions. What begins as a lifeless crater can become a protected habitat zone within days of a successful SkySeeder operation.
The aircraft`s advanced VTOL engines allow precise deployment even in deep canyons, volcanic plains, and rugged extraterrestrial terrain where conventional transports cannot operate.
