1) Please tell us a little something about yourself. Born in Greece, studied in Geneva and Paris, residing in Greece between Corfu and the island of Hydra.
Served in the Greek Parachute Regiment as a commissioned officer.
Studied Art in the Ecole des Beaux Arts of Geneva and Paris (painting) and History in the Université de Genève and the Sorbonne.
2) What software or tools do you use? Wings3d, Poser, Photoshop
3) How did you get started making digital models?I started making models that I needed to use in my own illustrating projects.
4) What experiences influenced your models or products?Military experience.
Sources, the internet, my personal knowledge of guns, technical manuals and blueprints.
No market analysis. I made guns because there was a lack of detailed and accurate items at that time.
5) What kind of challenges have you faced in your career?It would have taken entire volumes to answer that question. Let’s simply say that I was fortunate to face only the kind of challenges that I could handle.
6) You've been involved in the digital artist community for a while now. Do you have any thoughts or opinions about how the community has changed?It’s far less interesting now than it used to be a couple of years ago. It’s all about money now and everything is getting increasingly complicated but not for the best.
7) What advice do you have for new merchants who want to improve their artwork?Get to know your subject. And do only the things that appeal to you.
8) Is there anything else you'd like to share with the readers? Do you have any thoughts or ideas about models or products or anything else in the digital world? Don’t trust the pretty promo pictures. Learn how to evaluate the models.
