The 159th Fighter Wing (159 FW) is a unit of the Louisiana Air National Guard, stationed at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Louisiana flying a bombing mission during Operation Desert Storm as part of the USAF Expeditionary Force in 1990-91. At the time they were called the Coon Ass Militia but was forced to change their name in 1992 to Bayou Militia because of political correctness.
