Product Description
This model is inspired by the Iroquois Helicopter, better known as the "Huey". From the "Military Analysis Network" website, the Huey Helicopter is described as: "The most widely used military helicopter, the Bell UH-1 series Iroquois, better known as the "Huey", began arriving in Vietnam in 1963. Before the end of the conflict, more than 5,000 of these versatile aircraft were introduced into Southeast Asia. "Hueys" were used for MedEvac, command and control, and air assault; to transport personnel and material; and as gun ships. Considered to be the most widely used helicopter in the world, with more than 9,000 produced from the 1950s to the present, the Huey is flown today by about 40 countries."
As with my previous helicopters, this model comes with the usual moving parts (with proper limits set): opening doors, sliding doors, moving control sticks, moving yokes, moving tailhook, and rotating blades. Please note that, unlike my previous helicopters, this model does NOT come with any kind of "alternate geometry" (such as "switching interiors" or switching the the blade blur prop). This is due to the fact that the "alternate geometry" features may not be recognized in other programs such as Vue or Shade.
This model also includes the following features and props: Upper blade flex- it can droop down when the helicopter has landed or flex up when in flight. "Blade blur" props to simulate spinning blades. Add the props, hide the helicopter`s stationary blades (with included poses), render the scene, and you`ve got blurred blades. Weapons rack: a missile pod and forward-facing machine guns for when missions call for heavy weaponry. Machine guns and mounts: two side-mounted heavy machine guns are provided for even more firepower.
Files included in this package: ONE (1) Huey-type Helicopter model (figure) TWO (2) machine guns (props) TWO (2) machine gun mounts (props) ONE (1) weapons rack (prop) ONE (1) upper blade blur prop (with TWO transparency maps) ONE (1) rear blade blur prop (with ONE transparency map) FIVE (5) texture sets (jpg format) and MAT poses: Army Green Camo (Green, Brown, and White) Marine Blue Medical Blue Nam (Green and Yellow) ONE (1) rivet/ panel guide (bmp format) Poses to hide and show the middle and rear doors Poses to hide and show the upper and rear blades Texture templates (gif format)
NOTE: All images were rendered in Poser 4 using a soft "global illumination" light set. The blurred blades are created by using the included props and transparency maps.

I must say, this has been 11 bucks well spent. I love this thing. It is a pure f***ing beauty. The 3d model might be 4 years old, but still freaking amazing. I am happy with this thing and it is well worth the money, atleast for me.
